Ethnicity GIS Data
I've just recently come across the work of Nils Weidmann, who I should have been following for sometime, but I suppose it's better late than never. His work was cited in the Sachs (2015) text on Sustainable Development (see image below, p. 238). The figure cites the article "Representing Groups in Space: A New Dataset" (2010), which led me to the GeoEPR dataset: Geo-referencing Ethnic Power Relations. The article, "Politically Relevant Ethnic Groups across Space and Time: Introducing the GeoEPR Dataset," also describes the dataset. A newer article is also posted on the data source's website:
